PART 1: TERMS OF SERVICE

Welcome to PDF MultiTools Kit. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using this mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the App.

1. Ownership & Developer Status

This App is created, owned, maintained, and operated solely by Shiva Gandla. All title, copyright, intellectual property rights, trademarks, algorithms, user interfaces, design assets, and source code associated with the App belong exclusively to the Author.

2. End-User License Grant

We grant you a personal, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, and free license to download, install, and use the App on your personal Android device solely for your personal or internal business PDF document management needs.

3. Strict Proprietary Rights & Usage Restrictions

You acknowledge that the App, its code, feature modules, plugins, user interface, graphics, algorithms, and architecture contain valuable trade secrets and proprietary intellectual property.

You are STRICTLY PROHIBITED from doing any of the following without prior explicit written authorization from the Developer:

1. No Reverse Engineering or Modifications: You may not decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, decrypt, modify, adapt, translate, or attempt to derive the source code of the App or any of its feature modules.
2. No Unlawful Distribution or Re-hosting: You may not publish, rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, distribute, host, or transfer the App binary (APK or AAB) on any third-party app store, website, forum, or digital marketplace.
3. No Commercial Exploitation or Code Embedding: You may not use, copy, integrate, or embed any portion of this App or its plugins into any other software, application, website, or product designed for commercial sale, advertising monetization, or revenue generation.
4. No Rebranding or Derivative Works: You may not create derivative works, rebrand ("white-label"), or clone the App or any of its feature modules for public or commercial release.

4. Commercial Licensing & Plugin Certification

If you are a developer, enterprise, or commercial entity interested in licensing, embedding, or distributing technology, algorithms, or modules from this App:

• You MUST obtain prior written authorization and a formal Commercial License Certification directly from Shiva Gandla (pdfmultitoolskit@gmail.com).
• Commercial licensing terms may involve licensing fees or revenue-sharing agreements as determined by the Developer.
• Any unauthorized commercial use or monetized distribution will be subject to immediate legal enforcement and DMCA takedown notices.

5. Document Management & File Deletion Policy

• File Deletion Responsibility: When using features such as Page Deletion, File Deletion, PDF Splitting, or Compressing, the App modifies or permanently erases targeted files upon user confirmation.
• User Intent Confirmation: The App prompts user confirmation prior to executing irreversible actions (such as deleting an entire document file). You acknowledge that deleted files cannot be restored once permanently erased from local storage or system file managers.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. The Developer does not guarantee that the App will meet your specific requirements or operate uninterrupted without minor formatting variations on corrupted or password-encrypted third-party PDF files.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, document loss, business interruption, or financial loss arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the App.

PART 2: PRIVACY POLICY & DATA PROTECTION

Your privacy is fundamental to our product design. This Privacy Policy explains how data is handled when you use PDF MultiTools Kit.

1. Device Permissions & Purpose of Use

The App requests only minimal, essential permissions strictly required to perform user-initiated features:

• Storage / Storage Access Framework (SAF): Used exclusively to read, edit, compress, render, and save PDF, Image, and ZIP files to your device.
• Camera (android.permission.CAMERA): Used solely to capture physical documents for the Document Scanner feature. Scanned photos are processed locally and stored on your device.
• Notifications (android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Used on Android 13+ to display background task completion status (e.g. PDF compression or PDF-to-Image completion).
• Internet Access (android.permission.INTERNET): Used solely to serve mobile advertisements via Google AdMob and deliver anonymized crash diagnostics.

2. Information Collected & Third-Party Services

We do not collect personal identification information (such as your name, email address, phone number, or physical address). To support app maintenance and serve non-intrusive ads, the App integrates standard third-party services:

A. Google AdMob (Mobile Advertising)

• The App displays advertisements delivered by Google AdMob.
• Google AdMob may collect and process anonymized technical data (including Android Advertising ID, IP address, device model, and OS version) to serve personalized or non-personalized ads, prevent ad fraud, and measure ad performance.
• You can manage or opt out of personalized ad targeting anytime in your Android device settings (Settings > Google > Ads > Reset / Opt out of Ads Personalization).

B. Google Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics (Telemetry & Stability)

• The App uses Firebase to capture anonymized performance telemetry, screen usage counts, and crash reports. This data contains zero document content or personal data and is used strictly to diagnose crashes and maintain stability.

3. User Rights (GDPR & CCPA Compliance)

• EU GDPR Rights: European Union residents have the right to access, restrict, or opt out of personalized ad tracking via device settings or Google Privacy Controls.
• California CCPA Rights: California residents have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising via device Ad settings.
• Data Deletion: Since all user documents and files remain exclusively on your local device storage, you can erase all app data anytime by clearing the app cache/storage in your device settings or by uninstalling the App.

4. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

PDF MultiTools Kit does not knowingly target, solicit, or collect personal information from children under 13 years of age.

5. Updates to This Policy

We may update these Terms & Privacy Policy periodically. Revisions will be published with an updated "Effective Date" at the top of this document. Continued use of the App signifies acceptance of the updated terms.
